In the United States, our processed ferrous product is called "C" scrap. Our "C"
scrap is perfect for blast furnace mills overseas. It can be used as a higher
iron content substitute for iron ore.
It is not for electric arc furnaces because it contains iron oxides. Our product
size is approximately 3/4 inch and has a 72% metallic ferrous content. As you
know, this is superior to a simple overall ferrous content. Our assay is dry
basis, and so it is a true representation of the chemical breakdown.
The dry basis chemical assay showed that our product contains: (Approximately)
Iron: 72% (or more)
Manganese: 1.54%
Phosphorous: 0.168%,
Sulphur: 0.020%
Silicon: 3.6%
Chromium: 0.17%
Nickel: 0.01%
Molybdenum: 0.01%
Copper: 0.04%
Aluminum: 2.4%
Non-metallic sand, dirt or rock: 19%
As stated above. we are currently processing 2,000 metric tons per day, or
45,000 metric tons per month. We project to grow to 150,000+MT/Monthly within a
year or so.
